About Us
Bob Mitchell has built many quality narrowboats since 1996, and is proud to note that the majority are still with their original owners.
Initially operating from a workshop at Swallow Cruisers on the North Stratford Canal near Hockley Heath, Warwickshire, he outgrew the capaicity of these premises and in 2004 transferred his operations to a spacious 4000 square feet industrial unit at Mustow Green, three miles south east of Kidderminster. Here he is able to work on more than one boat at any time, allowing efficiencies in production not previously possible.
Finished boats are on show outside Limekiln Chandlery in Stourport Basin.
The aim of Mitchell Narrowboats is to provide good value for money by producing quality narrowboats of the highest standard, while maintaining prices at a reasonable level.
