Bob Mitchell has built many quality narrowboats since 1996, and is proud to note that the majority are still with their original owners.
Initially operating from a workshop at Swallow Cruisers on the North Stratford Canal near Hockley Heath, Warwickshire, he outgrew the capacity of these premises and in 2004 transferred initially to Kidderminster but has for the last 12 months has been operating spacious undercover facilities at Braunston Marina in the heart of the inland waterway system. Here he is able to work on more than one boat at any time, allowing efficiencies in production not previously possible.
Finished boats not previously sold are on show outside Braunston Marina shop.
The aim of Mitchell Narrowboats is to provide excellent value for money by producing quality narrowboats of the highest standard, while maintaining prices at a reasonable level.
